♥ The twelfth season of Grey’s Anatomy, I will never get enough of it
♥ The sixth season of Pretty Little Liars and finally some answersss
♥ The fifth season of Suits. Rooting for Harvey and Donna over here!
♥ A spontaneous little citytrip pretty soon.
♥ Re-watching Sex & the City. I have this sudden urge to watch it again.
♥ Not being such a series-addict. Or no, lol, who am I kidding, I LOVE it!!
♥ Summerrrr, of course. We already had some good days in the Netherlands just recently, but right now the weather is not that great. So fingers crossed that it will change again pretty soon! Then we can have dinner outside, wear tanktops, dresses, hear the birds, see more flowers, go to the beach, make nice evening hikes.. I can go on for a little longer but I think you get the picture haha, I love summer.
♥ All my piano lessons ahead. I just started and & am really enjoying it!
♥ Swim in the river again that is just a few minutes from my home
♥ Finally knowing what I want to do with my life. Lol, this is not as dramatic as it sounds. But study-wise I’m totally at loss. I’m not quite sure what I want to become and what I want to study. I do know that I would like to work with children, always such an amusement! But what exactly do I want? Working in a hospital/school or anything, not really sure. Ane one a recommandation or other an option? :)
♥ Reading some more books. Right now I’m reading the Cider House Rules, which was written by John Irving. I love reading in the garden when the sun is shining and when there is a little breeze, so that it won’t get too hot. Oooo, those are the good days ♥
This Monday I went out to the cinema with one of my bestfriends to see The longest ride. And what can I say.. We loved it! Just a lovely romantic movie with a touch of drama. If you are a fan of the other movies that are based on the books of Nicholas Sparks, I’m sure you’ll enjoy this adaption as well!
The movie, in short, is about sacrificing for love. You will follow two stories, set in a different time. It’s about how love is worth the risk. And of course the stories are about much more than that, but like I always say, I hate spoilers, so I think the trailer says about enough (If not too much) for you to know if you want to see the movie. And I’m just here to tell you, the movie is good, so you should see it haha. And was it just me by the way or did this trailer -and the valentine’s day trailer for this movie even more so- made me think that this was a country style 50 shades of grey. Let me tell you right now, it isn’t lol. I liked the music though. The first song is Waiting Game my Banks. The second is Hozier’s Work song. And last but nog least, Scott Eastwood has got beautiful eyes. Enjoy!
Last Friday I watched The Reader. A couple of years ago I also watched this movie, but I couldn’t really remember it anymore because I was pretty young back then and probably wasn’t looking so closely.
Nevertheless, I was really happy that I watched it again. I thought the movie was so good! Kate Winslet is just one of those actresses that always amazes me and David Kross delivered such a good performance.
As I’m writing this post, the story is still playing so vividly in my mind. I think I will get the book this week in the library. It is supposed to be really good.
The movie is about a woman, Hanna, who is starting an affair with Michael, who is a teenager. One day Hanna just dissapears, and a couple of years later Hanna and Michael encounter eachother again in court. The acting was just so good, David Kross’ acting just completely took you out of this world and in to the movie. The whole time you’re trying to understand how everything could have happened and why the persons involved are the way they are. I especially loved the parts where Hanna and Michael are still young and how the relationship takes its form. If you haven’t seen this movie yet, I would really like to recommand you to watch it!
